The Michigan City High School Quiz Bowl Team has earned a berth to the State Quiz Bowl Tournament, which will be held on Saturday, March 12, at Harrison High School in Lafayette. The team defeated Marquette, Crown Point, Portage, Merrillville, and Hobart during the regular season, and reached the semifinals in the DAC tournament.
