Congrats to the Michigan City High School Marching Band (under the direction of Quincy Ford, assistant director Matthew Hibbets, and color guard director Trish Laughlin), which competed and received a gold rating at the Summer Show Case at Lewis Cass High School in Walton, Indiana.
This season’s musical selections are from the Alan Menken’s rock comedy musical Little Shop of Horrors. The band performs Prologue/Little Shop of Horrors, Dentist!/Suddenly Seymour, and the Finale...Don't Feed the Plants.
The band and color guard support the high school and perform at all home football games, visit middle schools, and compete in regional festivals and invitationals. Remaining football game performances are September 6, September 20 and October 4.
