The class was open to all departments and was attended by 65 members of the fires service as far away as Indianapolis. The purpose of the class was to provide continuing training for Fire Investigators in the area of electrical fires. It focused on residential electrical systems and modes of failure, including live demonstrations. The IAAI (International Association of Arson Investigators) help sponsor the class.
