Michigan City Area Schools USDA 2015 Summer Food Service Sites Announced

mcasMichigan City Area Schools is participating in the USDA’s 2015 Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:

OPEN SITES – (Meals available to all children 18 years of age and younger)

Arise and Shine (222 McClelland), July 27 – August 7: Breakfast 8:30 – 9:00 a.m., Lunch 12:00 – 12:30 p.m.

Emmanuel Baptist Church (820 Eastwood) July 20 – July 24: Dinner, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. No breakfast or lunch.

Emmett Wise/Neighborhood Center (1702 E Michigan Blvd), June 15 – July 24: Breakfast 8:00 – 8:30 a.m., Lunch 12:00 – 12:30 p.m. (No meals on Friday, July 3rd)

High Praise Outreach Ministries (1007 E Hwy 20), June 29 - July 31: No Breakfast, Lunch 12:30 - 1:00 p.m.

Lake Hills Elementary School (201 Ferguson), June 22 – July 23: Breakfast 8:00 – 8:45 a.m., Lunch 11:30 – 12:45 p.m. (Monday – Thursday only)

Lakeland Estates (226 Merrihill - Community Center), June 22 - August 7: Breakfast, 9:00 – 9:30 a.m.; Lunch 11:30 - 12:00 p.m. (Monday – Thursday only)
