MCHS Students Celebrate MLK Day Through Workshop

MLKDay-2014Michigan City High School students participated in the sixth Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Youth Workshop at Merrillville High School on Monday, January 20.

The day was filled with thought-provoking, motivational and fun activities for students from school communities throughout the Midwest. Students had an opportunity to learn, share, and engage in authentic conversations as a means of honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The activities challenged students to look at themselves, their relationships with others and how they can be empowered individually and as a group, to make positive changes.
