MC Library and Islamic Center to Show Film of Islamic Art

Michigan-City-Public-LibraryThe Michigan City Public Library and the Islamic Center of Michigan City are joining together to present the movie, Islamic Art Spots, At the Islamic Center of Michigan City on Sunday, December 15 at 2pm.

The film is being presented as part of the library's grant from the American Library Association and the National Endowment for the Humanities. it features a series of essays developed by Professor D. Fairchild Ruggles as part of the Muslim Journeys project that engages the power of the humanities to promote understanding of and mutual respect for people with diverse histories, cultures, and perspectives within the United States and abroad. The public is invited to attend this free program.
