Marsch Madness Sets the 2015-2016 Laker Basketball Season in Motion

La-Lumiere-Marsch-Madness-Collage-2015La Lumiere School launched the 2015-2016 Laker basketball season with its sixth annual Marsch Madness event in Marsch Gymnasium on Wednesday, November 4. Marsch Madness is La Lumiere’s version of Midnight Madness — a tradition held on college campuses to celebrate the first day that the NCAA would allow formal basketball practices to be held. The evening opened with NBA-style player introductions which led into a boys Varsity White team dance led by the School’s cheerleaders. The gym was filled with school spirit as the La Lu girls and boys teams wowed fans with their skills during scrimmages, a three-point contest, hot spot shooting, and a slam dunk contest.
