The Marquette High School volleyball team returned to action Thursday night in the first round of the IHSAA Class A Sectional 49.
The Blazers faced off against Covenant Christian and were able to beat the Knights three games to none. The win assures the Blazers will continue their season, returning to action on Saturday, October 26 when they take on Washington Township in the sectional semifinals. Their contest follows the 11 a.m. semifinal.
