Marquette Girls competed on Tuesday August 28 @ Lake Station in a quad meet. (Marquette, Whiting, North Newton, and Lake Station) Senior Laima Kaukaite finished in 10th (out of 32) with a time of 25:41 while freshman Lily Giancaspro finished in 7th place with a time of 25:08. Both girls are doing amazing and making marked improvement with each race.
This race both girls also set NEW PR’s which are over 2 minutes faster than their meet against South Central 2 weeks ago. I expect to see big things from both girls before the season is over!
