The Marquette Catholic High School girls basketball team picked up an easy 64-5 victory over visiting Michigan City Christian Academy on Thursday. The Lady Warriors were held scoreless through the first half.
Marquette's boys 'C' team also picked up a win over Michigan City Christian Academy, holding off a late comeback for a 31-25 victory.
Both the Marquette girls varsity and boys 'C' teams will be back in action on Friday, December 6 with a road contest against River Forest. Tipoff time for the girls is 6 p.m. and the boys 'C' team will begin play at 6:45 p.m.
