The Marquette Catholic High School girls basketball team returned to action on Monday evening when they hosted Argos High School. Although a full court press allowed Argos to build an early lead, the Blazers battled back in the second half, but in the end it wasn't enough as the Dragons won 59-24.
The Blazers were led by Saroyah McNeal Johnson, who had 14 points. The team returns to action on Monday, January 6 when they travel to Hanover Central. Tip off will follow the C team boys basketball game, which starts at 5:30 p.m.
