Marquette Catholic High School Student Named as a Regional Indiana Academic All-Star

mqt-patrick-allstarMr. James White, Principal announces that Marquette Catholic High School senior Patrick McDonnell of Michigan City, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Barry McDonnell, has been selected as a 2015 Regional Academic All-Star.

The Indianapolis Star honored the Regional Academic All-Stars and their high school principal at an awards luncheon in Indianapolis. In addition, The Star will feature an article in a future edition of the newspaper.

Patrick was selected for outstanding academic achievement. The All-Star program is a salute to academic excellence and Marquette Catholic High School’s contribution to excellence in education.

Patrick is a member of the tennis and golf teams. He is involved with the drama department and is the school's media specialist. He is a member of National Honor Society and of student government.

James G. White, Principal states, “The entire Marquette Catholic High School family is very proud of Patrick. He has accomplished great things in his time at Marquette. Along with this accomplishment, Patrick is graduating with a Summa Cum Laude distinction and is a National Merit Commended Scholar. He is a fine example of hard work and dedication to himself and his family. As a school community, we are very proud of him and all that he has accomplished.”
