Marquette Catholic High School Senior Named Commended Student in 2016

Marquette-Catholic-High-School-Senior-Named-Commended-Student-2016 Marquette Catholic High School Principal, James G. White, announces today that Natalie Cloninger, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Oscar Cloninger of Michigan City, has been named a Commended Student in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation was presented to Natalie today from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program.

Mr. White states, "The entire Marquette Catholic High School family is very proud of Natalie. She has accomplished great things in her time at Marquette. She is a fine example of hard work and dedication to herself and her family. As a school community, we are very proud of her and all that she has achieved."

"The young men and women being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success," commented a spokesperson for NMSC. "These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation. We hope that this recognition will help broaden their educational opportunities and encourage them as they continue their pursuit of academic success."
