The Marquette Catholic Varsity Girls and C Team Boys Basketball teams were on the road on Monday. The Girls took the long trip down I-65 to Kentland, IN where they faced off against South Newton. The Blazers fought the weather and the Rebels valiantly, but were unable to secure a victory as they fell 24-35. The Lady Blazers return to action tomorrow night when they travel to Hammond Clark for a match up against the Pioneers. Tip off is set for 6:00.
The Boys C Team returned to action when they traveled to GSSC rival Calumet. The Blazers controlled the game throughout and won 57-36. The Blazers were led by Tyler Paholski who had 16 and Michael Langston who had 14. The Blazer C Team returns to action Wednesday, January 30 when they travel to South Bend Riley. Tip off for that match up is 5:30PM CST.
