Marquette Catholic High School Awarded Grant from the Dr. Scholl Foundation to Fund Technology Upgrades

Scholl-Grant-2013Marquette Catholic High School’s Principal Mr. James G. White announces today that the school has been awarded a $10,000 grant from The Dr. Scholl Foundation in order to fund a specific technology project.

The Dr. Scholl Foundation is dedicated to providing financial assistance to organizations committed to improving our world. Solutions to the problems of today's world still lie in the values of innovation, practicality, hard work and compassion. Grants are made annually after an extensive review of the application by the staff and all the directors of the Dr. Scholl Foundation.

With these funds the school was able to purchase seven Ultra wall mount projectors with electric retractable screens for classroom use.

Mr. White states, “We are extremely grateful to the Dr. Scholl Foundation for their continued support of projects we pursue. Marquette Catholic High School is able to accomplish great things due to their generosity and belief in what we do. Every day we work at creating opportunities to expand and enhance what we offer our students in order to broaden their thinking and achieving. 100% of our students graduate and go on to college – and it is our responsibility to help them prepare for that and so much more.”
