The Marquette Catholic boys soccer team and volleyball team were in action tonight. The boys soccer team traveled to Morgan Township and easily dispensed of the Cherokees winning 7-0. The Blazers were led by Jack Disser who scored two goals on the night. Other Blazers that contributed to the rout include Isaiah Papineau, Reagan Deporter, Tommy Anderson, William Connelly, Ian Smith and Joe Salyer who each had a goal.
The boys soccer team returns to action on Saturday, August 24 when they travel to Demotte to take on Covenant Christian in their Northwest Indiana Soccer Conference debut of the 2013 season. Game time is set for 1:00.
The volleyball team traveled to Knox to take on the Redskins. The Blazers came our firing on all cylinders taking a 2-0 match lead. However the Redskins rallied back and were able to pull out the come from behind victory winning 3-2.
The volleyball team returns to action Thursday, August 22 when they travel to Lake Central. Game time is set for 5:30.
