The Marquette Catholic Boys Basketball team returned to action Friday evening when they hosted New Buffalo High School. In both the JV and Varsity contest, the Blazers were in control throughout, dominating the Bison in both contests. The JV won 60-19 and the Varsity won 82-45.
The Blazers were led by Sophomore Ryan Fazekas with 28 points, including a perfect 9/9 from the free throw line, 15 rebounds and 4 steals. Braxton Miller had 18, while Richie Mitchell had 8 points to go along with 8 assists.
The Blazers return to action tomorrow afternoon when they travel to South Bend to take on St. Josephs. Tip off for the JV is set for 1:00 CST, while the Varsity follows at approximately 2:30 CST.
