Marquette Catholic Baseball Results for April 15, 2013

marquette-catholic-logoDespite the wet conditions, the Marquette Catholic Baseball team returned to the diamond this afternoon to take on near by LaLumiere School. The Blazers were able to use a balanced attack to jump out to an early lead and were able to hold on for a decisive 6-2 win. Isiah Papinea (1-0) got the win for the Blazers going 4 innings, while only giving up 4 hits and walking 4. Bryce Freels got the save for the Blazers. Dan Miller led the way offensively, going 1-2 with a single and 2 RBIs.

The Blazers return to action Tuesday, April 16 when they travel to Bethel College to take on Elkhart Christian. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. (CST).
