The Marquette Catholic boys and girls basketball teams were on the road tonight. The boys traveled to South Bend St. Joseph while the girls headed to Concord.
In the boys matchup, the Indians got the best of the Blazers as the Indians won the JV matchup 59-46. Late miscues cost the Blazers as they let a lead slip away and the Indians capitalized as they won 55-53. The boys basketball team returns to action on Friday, December 11, 2015 when they host River Forest. JV tip off is set for 5:30pm with Varsity to follow at approximately 7:00pm.
In the girls matchup they got the best of the Minutemen as the JV won 29-26. It was more of the same in the Varsity contest as the Blazer won convincingly 47-15. Emma Nolan lead the way for the Blazers with 22 points. The girls basketball team is back in action on Saturday, December 12 when they travel to Elkhart Christian. JV tips off at 4:30pm CST vs Clinton Christian, varsity will follow at approximately 6:00pm CST vs Elkhart Christian.
