Marquette Boys Soccer Wins Blueberry Festival Tournament with Penalty Kick

Soccer-ball-grassThe Marquette Catholic boys soccer team returned to action this afternoon as they traveled to Plymouth for the conclusion of the Blueberry Festival Tournament. The Blazers would face off against the host Plymouth Pilgrims in a very physical contest.

Jack Disser started off the scoring in a tight contest. William Connelly's second goal, a penalty kick was the deciding factor as the Blazers won 3-2.

The boys soccer team returns to action on Tuesday, September 3 when they host the Wheeler Bearcats at 5:00 p.m.
