Marquette Boys Soccer Picks Up Two Wins in Plymouth Invitational

marquette-catholic-logoThe Marquette Catholic Boys Soccer team picked up two huge wins today in thier tournament at Plymouth. The Blazers beat host Plymouth in a very physical first game. Jack Disser scored twice on penalty kicks to give the Blazers a 2-1 victory.

In the second game, the Blazers took to a rain drenched field and built a commanding 4-0 lead before taking out there starters. Mishawaka Marian made a late charge in the final 10 minutes, but it wasn't enough as the Blazers held on for a 4-3 victory. The Blazers were led by Patrick Cannon who scored twice and also got goals from Jack Disser and Parker Buell.

The Blazers will return to action for two more game on Monday to finish off the Plymouth Invitational Tournament.
