The Marquette Catholic High School boys basketball team tipped of their 2013-14 season in Washington, Illinois - where they faced off against the top ranked team in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class 2A, Rock Ridge High School.
The Blazers, who are ranked No. 1 in the SuperHoopsPlus.com Class 1A rankings in Indiana, were not able to pull out a victory, dropping a 63-48 decision.
Marquette (0-1) was led by Braxton Miller's 16 points. JoVonte Peals also scored in double figures, chipping in with 12. The team returns to action on Wednesday, November 27 at 4 p.m. when they face Peoria Manual (Illinois).
