Students from the La Porte High School Music Department participated in the Indiana State School Music Association Vocal and Piano Solo and Ensemble Contest on Saturday, February 2 at Valparaiso High School. Eleven Gold Division medals, and one Silver Division medal were given to the twelve La Porte High School students who participated. (Because of the weather, most La Porte students were instructed to stay home and did not perform.) The individuals earning these medals are as follows:
