The La Porte High School Marching Band placed fourth in Open A Class at the Penn Invitational held at Penn High School on September 26. Complete Open A Class results follow:

On October 3 the LPHS Marching Band will compete at the Plymouth Invitational. The contest begins at 5:30 PM E.S.T. with La Porte scheduled to perform at 8:19 PM E.S.T.
On October 10 the band will compete at the Indiana State School Music Association Scholastic Class Prelims at Homestead High School. The contest begins at 11:00 AM E.S.T. with La Porte performing at 2:54 PM E.S.T.
