The La Porte High School Marching Band placed second in Class A and was named the Fan’s Choice winner at the Plymouth Harvest Festival of Bands held on Saturday, October 3. Complete Class A results:

The band will perform at 2:54 PM E.S.T. in the Scholastic A Class at the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) Scholastic Class State Prelims to be held at Homestead High School on October 10. Bands receiving a Gold Rating will advance to the ISSMA Scholastic Class State Finals on October 24 at Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis. The LPHS Marching Band is a six time ISSMA State Finalist and the 2014 ISSMA Scholastic A Class State Champion.
