Local Vets to Volunteer Giving Rabies Shots for Needy Pet Owners

International-Friendship-GardensLocal pet owners who need financial assistance can bring their pets for rabies vaccinations as Friendship Gardens sponsors its Annual Low Cost Pet Clinic this Saturday, October 5th from 1 to 4pm at the Gardens Service Center, 2055 East U.S. Highway 12 in Michigan City.

Rabies shots will be given by local veterinarians, Dr. Scott Baldwin, Dr. Rex Bailey, and Dr. Jeffery Klemens as a public service to our community and Friendship Gardens. Bring your dog on a leash and your cat in a carrier. The cost is $15 per shot per animal and all proceeds go to help Friendship Gardens grow.

International Friendship Gardens is a non-profit organizations relying on memberships and donations. Friendship Gardens welcomes pets on a leash to visit the gardens. It is located at 2055 U.S. Highway 12, on the eastern edge of Michigan City. Many join because of the all-season, all-hours access provided for members.
