McKenzie Jacobs from La Porte County sang at the Indiana State Fair on August 4, 2013 at 3pm. She sang at the Marsh free stage for the Indiana State Fair Vocal ThrowDown.
She is one of 10 contestants from across the state. There were 92 contestants in her age category.
Also that same evening she performed in a showcase at the Centennial Hall for placing State Runner-Up at the area 4-H Share the Fun.
She is 13 years old and a 8th grader at Kesling Middle School. This will be her second year in show choir. She plays guitar and takes lessons at Roxy's Music in La Porte.
