Lady Blazer Named to 2016 Volleyball Academic All State Team

Lady-Blazer-Named-to-Volleyball-Academic-All-State-Team-2016Marquette Catholic High School congratulates Emily Lazarek '17 on being named, by the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association, a member of the Volleyball Academic All-State team. In order to be considered - The student athlete must be a senior participating in an IHSAA girls' sport. The student athlete must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 on 4.0 scale.

The student athlete must have a minimum SAT score of 1110 on the critical reading (verbal) and math only if they took the old SAT test with 2400 maximum. If they took the newer SAT with maximum of 1600 then that score should be used or a minimum ACT composite score of 24. The student athlete must be a varsity participant in a minimum of 50% of the contests in an IHSAA sponsored girls' sports program.

Principal James G. White states, “Emily personifies the words student-athlete. She works hard in the classroom, on the court and in her service work. I am proud of Emily. She has accomplished a great deal while a student at MQTT and I am excited to see what she accomplishes down the road.”
