The La Porte High School Winter Color Guard received the bronze medal for placing third in the Scholastic A class finals of the Midwest Color Guard Circuit Championships (MWCGC) held this past weekend at LaPorte High School. Complete class results for Scholastic A Class were:

The guard will travel to Dayton, OH, to compete in the Winter Guard International (WGI) World Championships on April 16 and 17. They will perform at 6:33 PM EDT Thursday at the Wright State University Nutter Center. There are 122 guards from across the country in the Scholastic A class prelims. 64 guards will advance to the Semi-Finals to be held throughout the day on Friday with the top 15 scoring guards advancing in the Finals to be held Friday evening at the University of Dayton Arena.
