The La Porte High School Winter Color Guard competed at the Winter Guard International World Championships held in Dayton, OH, April 3-6. Prelims for the 51 Scholastic Open Class guards were held Thursday with La Porte advancing to the semifinals.
Out of the 36 guards advancing to the Friday semifinals La Porte placed 24th in the semifinals round. The top 15 scoring guards from semi-finals then advanced to the finals. The class champion was Fishers High School, from Fishers, Indiana. This concludes the season for the LPHS Winter Guard.
