The La Porte Urban Enterprise Association is conducting a "Big Ideas" Contest looking for new ideas to make the enterprise zone a better place for the residents and businesses.
Ideas can be traditional or "out-of-the-box" business models, beautification concepts, suggestions for sidewalks, signage, lighting, you name it.
Two winners, one adult (25 yrs old+) and one student (under 25) will be selected and will receive $500 cash. Winners will be announced at the first Fox Park concert of the summer. Projects submitted must be able to be completed by the end of the year. Applications are available on the City’s website under the Business/La Porte Urban Enterprise Association tab or at City Hall in the Office of Community Development and Planning.
Deadline for submissions is March 1, 2013. Good luck and I can't wait to hear the ideas!
