La Porte Service League is seeking teams to once again join in a special Trivia Night event on Friday, April 25.
The fun will begin at 6 p.m. at the La Porte County Fairgrounds community building, with rounds beginning at 6:30 p.m.. Entries are limited to the first 20 teams, and all ages are welcome. The entry fee is $100 per team, with up to 10 players per team.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams of the evening. A cash bar will be available, and teams are invited to bring along their own snacks. In past years, some teams have made an event of the food sharing to complement the fellowship and trivia competition.
A raffle will be held, and door prizes awarded. Businesses wishing to provide a prize or sponsorship may contact chairperson Val Martinsen at 219-851-3989.
Registration is now open and teams may contact LPServiceLeague@gmail.com for a form.
Proceeds from the event will help support La Porte Service League community projects. The league was founded in March 1932 with members focused on social, economic, educational, cultural, and civic volunteerism. Each member spends at least 50 hours contributing to community service projects, including presenting an annual play for thousands of area schoolchildren.
