The La Porte Salvation Army would like to thank two people for an anonymous donation of over $1,000. From time to time we receive anonymous donations and are so very grateful for all our donors. On Friday March 8th a young couple, came into the Corp to drop off a small box of what they said was “canned foods”.
The volunteer staff thanked them and wished them a nice day! While unloading the box we discovered an envelope addressed to the Salvation Army. Inside to our surprise, was a generous cash donation. What a blessing this young couple had given to the Corp!! With such donations from them and many others, we are so very grateful to be able to continue to assist many men, women and children within our community that may be in need!
