The La Porte Park and Recreation Department will again this year be offering the summer Art Camp program for children currently enrolled in grades Pre-school (ages 4 & 5) through 8. Art camp is a two week program that gives kids a chance to do a variety of art activities. The classes will be held at Cummings Lodge in Soldiers Memorial Park and will meet Monday through Thursday with times varying depending on the grade level. Class is determined on the grade the child is coming out of. Class sizes are limited, pre- registration is required. Class cost is $28 per child. Registration can be done at the Park Office at 250 Pine Lake Avenue.
Session dates are as follows: 1st Session June 13 to June 23 with the 2nd Session July 11 to July 21.
