The La Porte and New Prairie schools and communities are invited to a rally on Tuesday, November 25th at 7:30 pm central time in Slicer Gym to honor and show support for the football teams in their quest for a State Championship. Both teams will be recognized as this is an historic event for both the Slicers and Cougars.
Entrances from both the "I" street and "F" street parking lots will be open and Slicer fans are encouraged to use the "F" street lot, door #23 as parking will be limited coming in the main entrance.
Tickets will also be available for purchase at Tuesday nights event. Tickets are $15.00 per day.
New Prairie plays New Palestine at 3:30 pm eastern / 2:30 central time on Friday, November 28th and La Porte plays Indianapolis Cathedral on Saturday, November 29th at 7:00 pm eastern time / 6:00 central time.
Tickets will also be on sale at the New Prairie and La Porte athletic departments beginning Tuesday morning. La Porte is out of school for Thanksgiving break on Wednesday the 26th but the athletic office will be open from 8:00 am until noon on Wednesday and again from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm for those individuals that would like to purchase tickets in advance. Wednesday will be the last available day to pre-purchase tickets for State.
