La Porte Kiwanis to Take Over the Radio Waves

Kiwanis logoThe La Porte Kiwanis Club is celebrating 93 years of community service in the greater La Porte area this year. The Club's community service budget has grown to over $20,000 to support 4 college scholarships, 4-H, YMCA, Support Our Youth, Pioneer Land, Kiwanis Teledyne Park- raising funds to place 8 lights in the park, and over twenty other La Porte activities each year. We are capping this year's effort with "Radio Days" courtesy of WLOI-AM Radio in La Porte.

On Tuesday, February 11th, the Kiwanis Club of La Porte will take over the airways at WCOE for the entire day. We will be doing Sound-off, Vital Statistics, Tradio, the News, and even Breakfast Showcase. The day should be fun for both the club and for the listening audience.

Also, Ken Coe has made available to our club a special advertising package to share with you during our anniversary week. The package is independent of any program you currently have with WLOI/WCOE and all the proceeds from the advertising sales goign to the La Porte Kiwanis Club for support of our projects serving the children of La Porte.

If you would like to place an order now, please fill out this order form.

Thank you for your support of Kiwanis and our La Porte Children's projects.
