The La Porte High School Winter Color Guard won the Scholastic Open Class at the Midwest Color Guard Circuit Contest held on February 10 at Naperville Central High School in Naperville, IL. Complete results of the Scholastic Open Class were as follows:
- La Porte - 65.7
- Naperville Central - 65.1
- Lake Central - 59.8
La Porte will travel to Indianapolis on February 16 and 17 to compete in the Winter Guard International Indianapolis Regional Championships. La Porte High School will host the MWCGC Championships on March 30 and 31.
