Students from the LaPorte High School Music Department participated in the Indiana State School Music Association Vocal and Piano Solo and Ensemble Contest on Saturday, February 2 at Kankakee Valley Middle School. Seventy-eight Gold Division medals, and fifteen Silver Division medals were given to the eighty-five LaPorte High School students who participated.
The students did very well considering they had missed five consecutive days just before Contest. We at LaPorte High School are very proud of their achievement! The individuals earning these medals are as follows:
