La Porte County Symphony Orchestra Partners with Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Illumination for Bach, Bruckner and Brahms Concert

La-Porte-County-Symphony-OrchestraThe Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra Chorus and the Illumination ensemble will be part of the guest performance line-up for the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra's IU Health Classics Concert on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Elston Performing Arts Center in Michigan City, Indiana, featuring the music of Bach, Bruckner and Brahms. Established in 1987, the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra consists of over one hundred Chicagoland voices who have regularly shared their talents and versatility with the Symphony. Directed by Dr. Nancy Menk, the NISO Chorus will be performing works by Bach and Bruckner, providing added versatility to the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra's repertoire.

Illumination is an ensemble of approximately twenty voices, established in 2010 but welcomed the opportunity to join the LCSO as a permanent ensemble in 2013. With singers from Chicago to Lafayette, and several points in between, Illumination, directed by Becky Osborn, will be joining the NISO Chorus in the performance.
