La Porte County Solid Waste District is happy to announce that we have an app located on our website www.solidwastedistrict.com, as well as our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/LPCoRecycling/, that allows residents to view a custom recycling calendar that will show only the recycling days for their address if they choose, as well as a place to sign up for recycling reminders.
You can have your reminder sent via email, Twitter, text message, or by phone call. No more wondering if tomorrow is your recycling day or if it really is next week instead. If you have trouble signing up please call us at 219-326-0014 and we can either input your information for you to sign up, or help you by walking you through the process. We hope that his helps ease some of the recycling day confusion and makes it easier for all members of our community to recycle.
