Free Sensory Friendly Movie Event at the La Porte County Public Library
Please mark your calendars for Saturday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. for the free Sensory Friendly Movie event showing the LEGO MOVIE. The room will be lighter, the volume will be lower, and the audience members will be free to move about and sing or play. There will be activities for the kids and the adjacent meeting room will be open for parents to visit and relax. This program is designed for children with special needs and their families, but all are welcome.

Looking for something different to do this winter? Stop in to your nearest library location all month long and participate in the Arctic Winter Reading Program.

Kindergarten through 5th grade students complete a variety of activities, games, reading, and attend programs all month long to earn books and grand prize entries.

Preschool ago children and parents can pick up an activity calendar, complete 14 activities, and return it to their nearest library location. Each child will choose a book for a prize and be entered to win a grand prize package.
