La Porte County Public Library is holding a community meeting April 3 at 4pm at Union Mills to talk about building and service improvements for the Union Mills, Fish Lake and Kingsford Heights locations. The purpose of the meeting is for our community to come together to share input and feedback towards the library's emerging direction and to help the library remain relevant, responsive, and reflective of the communities' needs.
Meetings have been held by the Library’s Master Planning Committee to interview contractors to become project manager for building improvements and the upcoming meetings are to address the needs of each branch of the La Porte County Public Library with input from the community.
The following are the dates of future meetings to address the remaining branch locations.

Thursday, May 15th, 4pm at Hanna Methodist Church Fellowship Hall

Other library locations include Coolspring, Rolling Prairie, Fish Lake, Kingsford Heights, Hanna, and Union Mills. The La Porte County Public Library also has a mobile library that travels throughout La Porte County.
