La Porte County Library Presents Local Lore: The Fox Family

La-Porte-County-Public-LibraryLa Porte County Public Library continues its monthly series entitled Local Lore, which includes a presenter and explores historic elements of La Porte County. April’s Local Lore featured The Wabash Railroad, with author Victor Baird discussing the Wabash Railroad that went through Kingsbury and Westville in La Porte County.

The next in the series is Local Lore: The Fox Family, May 6, at 6:30pm at La Porte County Public Library’s Main Location. County historian Fern Eddy Schultz will talk about the importance of the Fox family in La Porte who are associated with the Fox Woolen Mills, the Civic Auditorium, Fox Park and much more. The Local Lore series is free to the public.
