The La Porte County (IN) Genealogical Society will meet at 7 PM (CDST) Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at the La Porte City Parks Headquarters Building, 250 Pine Lake Avenue.
The business portion of the meeting will be followed by refreshments and a program entitled “An Overview of Family Search: what resources it provides and how it can help you in your research,” presented by KayLynn Mathews, past director of the Valparaiso Family History Center. A chance to learn to search one of the biggest collections of family records and do so more effectively! The online offerings of the Family Search website grow monthly.
