The La Porte County Family YMCA will host an Open House & Ribbon Cutting for their Andrew Avenue Education and Recreation Center on Saturday, June 7th. The Open House will last from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a picnic style cookout. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be administered by the Greater La Porte Chamber of Commerce at 10:30 a.m.
This event is open to the community. Bring your family for a day of fun, food and learning about the Andrew Avenue Center. Tours will be available throughout the open house.
The Andrew Avenue Outdoor Education and Recreation Center has several amenities including: basketball courts, soccer fields, walking trails, tree forts, Gaga Pits, shelter, kitchen facilities, restrooms and much more.
