The La Porte High School Winter Color Guard placed second in the Scholastic A class finals of the Midwest Color Guard Circuit Championships held this past weekend at La Porte High School. Complete class results for Scholastic A Class were:

The guard will travel to Dayton, OH, to compete in the Winter Guard International World Championships on April 11 and 12. They will perform at 4:04 PM EDT Friday at the Wright State University Nutter Center. There are 112 guards in the Scholastic A class prelims. 48 guards will advance to the Semi-Finals to be held throughout the day on Friday at the Nutter Center with the top 15 scoring guards advancing in the finals to held Friday evening at the University of Dayton Arena.
