The Boston 8th grade football team defeated North Judson 38 to 16 at Kesling Field Thursday night.
Offensively, Alex Dudek scored the first touchdown of the season on the first drive of the season that consumed most of the first quarter on a 25 yard touchdown pass reception from quarterback Tyler Schoff, who also ran the ball well and had two 2-point conversion runs. Chris Juszkiewicz ran the ball well and scored on a 20 yard touchdown run. Scott Cooper added a 25 yard touchdown reception along with two 2-point conversion receptions.
The defense for the Bruins forced two fumbles, one by Rylee Postelmans that led to a 50 yard return for a touchdown by Tyler Schoff, and another forced fumble on the kickoff team by Alex Dudek that led to a Scott Cooper 40 yard return for a touchdown. Billy Mofield added a sack on defense.
Boston plays Portage Willowcreek next week Thursday at Kesling.
