La Lumiere Student Named 2015 Indiana Regional Academic All-Star

Emily-BeachLa Lumiere School is proud to announce that senior Emily K. Beach has been named a Regional Academic All Star by the Indiana Association of School Principals. Emily is the daughter of Barbara Tenney of South Bend and Douglas Beach of Granger. Students are recognized for their academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and community service. Students are asked to nominate an influential educator during the application process. Emily nominated her AP English teacher, Stacey Lingle. Emily credits Mrs. Lingle with providing her with the inspiration needed to achieve her best, “Mrs. Lingle pushed me to my limits each and every day in her class, challenging me to find the puzzles presented in great works of literature.”
