La Lumiere School Announces Interim Head of School

La Lumiere School is pleased to welcome Andy Webster as the next Interim Head of School. Andy is joining La Lumiere after an 18-year tenure as the Head of School at the Wardlaw+Hartridge School in suburban New Jersey. A graduate of both Brown University and University of Virginia, Andy is a career educator and school leader. In addition to his experience as a Head of School, Andy has served as a history teacher, coach, advisor, Director of Admissions, and Upper School Head in his previous schools. 

“La Lumiere has a clear sense of its identity and a powerful sense of community, an energetic and committed faculty, and talented, engaging students who know their school is a special place,” Andy said, “ My goal is to create a vibrant culture that balances the need to challenge and care for its community members, to guide its students toward a clear sense of purpose and spiritual growth, and to work toward meaningful academic innovation while maintaining a high level of excellence.”
