Kube Sports Complex Groundbreaking

McDermott, Jr., Hammond Redevelopment Commission, and officials of Ice Kube LLC as they break ground for the new Ice Hockey Complex on the former Hammond FOP site, 2825 J. F. Mahoney Drive in the Hessville section of Hammond on Wednesday, November 7th at 2:30 p.m.

This $7.5M, 94,000 sf facility is a perfect complimentary use of this vacant parcel, near Dowling Park, the Jean Shepherd Center and Purdue University Northwest and a great investment for the youth of Hammond. The Kube is expected to open in 2019 for the next Hockey season.

The Kube Sports Complex along with the brand new Hammond Sportsplex, will help make Hammond a destination city for sporting events and tournaments for families and their athletes from all over the Midwest area.
